This policy explains how information is handled when you use the Daily Dose of Scripture application on iOS or Android, including the updated application distributed through the Daily Dose of Greek store listings.
Information in the app
You do not need an account to use the app. The app does not ask for your name, email address, location, contacts, camera, or microphone. Daily Dose does not include its own advertising or analytics service in this release.
Your language choices, reminder settings, playback preferences, recent searches, lesson completion marks, and limited recent-content cache are stored on your device. Daily Dose does not upload these records to a user profile or sync them between devices. Search is performed using downloaded public lesson information.
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device after you enable them and grant notification permission. The app does not register your device for remote push notifications. You can disable reminders in the app or your device settings.
Content delivery and video services
The app connects to our published content feed, image servers, and video providers to display lessons. These services may process technical information such as your IP address, device and browser information, requested content, and request or playback times to deliver content, prevent abuse, and maintain their services. We use Amazon Web Services for app-content delivery and Kinsta and Cloudflare for website hosting and protection.
Video playback uses Vimeo and YouTube. Their players may process technical and playback information and use cookies or similar storage under their own policies. The app requests Vimeo's Do Not Track mode and uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed domain. These settings limit some tracking; they do not eliminate all provider processing or necessary security cookies.

Newsletter, sharing, and external links
Newsletter signup is optional and opens our website signup form. The form uses Mailchimp to process the name and email address you choose to submit and to deliver requested emails. The native app does not copy or store those details. You can unsubscribe using the link in an email. Mailchimp's processing is described in the Intuit Global Privacy Statement.
When you share a lesson, the app passes its title and public link to your device's share sheet. The service you select and any external website you open apply their own privacy policies. Apple and Google separately handle app-store accounts, downloads, updates, and any diagnostics you choose to provide.
Retention and your choices
Local settings and completion marks remain until changed or removed with the app's data. Recent cached content is limited and refreshed as you use the app. Device backup or restore behavior is governed by the platform and your settings. Hosting and video providers retain operational information under their settings and policies. Newsletter information is retained to provide subscriptions and honor unsubscribe requests.
Daily Dose does not sell your personal information. Information you voluntarily send us by email or through newsletter signup is used to respond or provide the requested service. Contact us about access, correction, or deletion of information you have provided; some records may need to be retained for legal, security, or unsubscribe purposes.
