Reporting Privacy Notice

Daily Dose of Scripture operates Daily Dose Analytics Reporting for its ministry account owners and authorized reporting team. This notice covers that reporting tool. Contact us at contact@dailydoseofscripture.com about its data practices, access, or deletion requests.

Information accessed and used

With an account owner’s permission, the tool reads the selected account’s identity and aggregate reporting information. Connected sources may include Google Analytics, Google Search Console, YouTube API Services, Google Play, Vimeo, Apple App Store Connect, Mailchimp and Hootsuite exports.

Google data may include website traffic and engagement, search performance, app install reports, YouTube channel identifiers, rounded subscriber counts, views, watch time, and subscriber gains and losses. The tool uses this information to produce ministry reports, compare reporting periods, identify coverage gaps, and help the authorized team plan its work.

The reporting collector does not retrieve individual newsletter contact lists, Google passwords, payment details or video files. The ministry’s use of this tool does not grant it access to an unconnected person’s Google account.

Storage and access

Reporting credentials are stored in a private local folder, separate from the dashboard. Saved reports contain aggregate measurements and the account and date information needed to interpret them. Authorized ministry operators may access the reporting computer and reports. Credentials are excluded from shared dashboard files.

Private account reports are shared only with the account owner and people or service providers the owner authorizes to assist with reporting. Public ministry updates require a separate review of which information may be shared. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train generalized artificial-intelligence models. Authorized users may request AI-assisted analysis of selected aggregate reports using ministry-approved providers and account settings; the data remains subject to these reporting purposes.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Retention, revocation and deletion

Historical aggregate reports are retained for ministry reporting while the account owner continues to authorize their use and provider requirements permit it. Authorization is checked when reporting refreshes run. Stored YouTube data remains subject to YouTube’s refresh, authorization and deletion requirements.

You can revoke Google access at any time through Google Account connections. You can also contact contact@dailydoseofscripture.com to disconnect an account or request deletion of its stored reporting data. After a verified deletion request, we remove the affected stored YouTube data as soon as possible and within seven calendar days. Revocation through Google settings stops future authorized collection; related stored YouTube data is removed in accordance with YouTube’s requirements, within 30 calendar days of revocation.

Cookies, providers and updates

The local setup page uses a session cookie to protect the account-connection process. Google and other providers handle sign-in and may use their own cookies under their policies. This tool uses YouTube API Services; see Google’s Privacy Policy.

The tool’s practices and this notice may change as reporting connections and access arrangements change. Material new uses of account data require the account owner’s authorization before they begin.
